EUDIS Business Accelerator aims to strengthen start-up and scale-up companies’ knowledge of defence end-users needs, and the companies’ business development and go-to-market capabilities. It will help improve the companies’ access to financing, provide a seed-financing voucher of EUR 65,000.

Defence Hackathons

Hackathons are awareness and outreach events that help to develop innovative solutions for EU defence actors. Hackathons bring together people of different expertise and with various backgrounds to solve defence challenges.

Matchmaking Services

EUDIS Matchmaking will bridge innovators and investors, enabling SMEs and small mid-caps to attract funding, enter the defence market, and establish partnerships with corporates, investors and defence end-users.

Technological Challenges

Participate or organise technological challenges: set-up testing environments for Research & Development. Different teams address a challenging objective using a common testing environment set up for that purpose.

Defence Equity Facility

The Defence Equity Facility stimulates the creation of a defence & security-related ecosystem of investors and facilitates access to equity finance for innovative companies

Disruptive Technologies

Disruptive Technologies Calls focus on enhanced or completely new technologies that bring about a paradigm shift in the concept and conduct of defence affairs such as by replacing existing defence technologies or rendering them obsolete.

Innovation Test Hubs

EUDIS wants to enable Innovation Test Hubs across the European Union by allowing a consortium selected under the European Defence Fund to finance innovative SMEs and start-ups with little to no experience in the defence sector.

SME Calls

EUDIS targets SMEs, start-ups, and other small players new to the defence sector. The EDF includes specific calls targeting SMEs to lower entry barriers into the defence domain.

Spin-in Calls

Spin-in calls focus on migrating your innovation from the civil to defence sector. In practice, these are open or thematic research or development calls published by the European Defence Fund.
